Lithium Secondary - Rechargeable|
Lithium Ion:
Lithium ion batteries
use lithium metallic oxide in its positive electrode (cathode) and carbon
material in its negative electrode (anode). Lithium ions inside the battery
transfer between the positive electrode and the negative electrode during
charge or discharge.

Lithium Polymer:
Lithium polymer batteries
use a gel-type electrolyte to provide power. Battery components are solid,
eliminating the need to contain liquid electrolyte. This allows for smaller
cell configurations.
